2020-Present
Since 2020 I've been running my own graphic design business primarily through my Instagram page, @kesperdesign. I've created over 1000 designs for high school athletes committing to college, graphics for sports teams and organizations, and logos and YouTube thumbnails.
Spring 2023-Present
I design and sell Canva and Photoshop templates on Etsy for teams to use as social media graphics. Since starting my store in Spring 2023, I've become a top seller in the sports graphics niche, increased monthly revenue by 400% since August 2023, and sold to over 2500 teams.
Summer 2024
After learning React early in Summer 2024, I spent the final two months developing a free resource library for sports graphic designers called GivNGo. I conducted user interviews, launched the website at the end of August 2024, and learned Firebase, authentication, data fetching, and UX/UI design techniques.
Fall 2025
I built TalentTap as a platform to make finding student talent at Cornell easier and faster. Think of it like a one-stop tool where students can discover photographers, designers, videographers, developers, and freelance opportunities all in one place.
Fall 2024
To learn Adobe Illustrator and Figma, I created a modern rebrand for Pixar, designing a bold, tech-inspired logo and redesigning their website. This passion project let me explore my love for storytelling and design while learning new skills in branding, typography, and UX/UI design.
Fall 2023-Present
I joined Cornell's Big Red Sports Network fall of 2023, doing graphic design for their following on Instagram and X. I did designs for sports such as football, hockey, basketball, field hockey, and wrestling.
Fall 2025
Spotlight is a mobile platform designed to help student creatives get discovered, showcase their work, and connect with potential clients on campus. In my Human-Computer Interaction course, I conducted research-driven design iterations including heuristic evaluations, usability testing, and user interviews.
Spring 2025
While on the Software Development team at Engineers Without Borders, I helped design and build a mobile app for managing donations and inventory. I created the full UX/UI in Figma, then learned React Native to implement key components.
Spring 2025
For my Ubiquitous Computing course, I led a semester-long project to build an open-source, browser-based web app for real-time sensor data visualization. I contributed to the full stack using p5.js, Node.js, and Python to stream data from Arduino-compatible sensors.
Spring 2024
For my Design and Programming for the Web class, I created an interactive, data-driven site via PHP and the MYSQL database for a jean shop in a two-person team. I learned to process HTTP requests, dynamically render HTML, populate and store web content in a relational database using SQL.
Spring 2024
To answer questions and create predictions for flight delays in the US, I worked with three other group members to create a report from Kaggle's "Flight Delays and Cancellations" dataset. I worked with Tableau and SQL to create visualizations and performed linear regression and forecasting in Python.
In my free time, I love building small web apps with AI tools that do cool things like tracking habits, resetting focus, and turning ideas into quick prototypes.
